This land is not included in the strategic land allocation in the Vale of Aylesbury Local Plan (VALP)      <\/strong>See the VALP here<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

650 more houses on this land is 50% increase on the housing allocation that the Parish is compulsorily required to accept in yet-to-be-built developments between south Aylesbury and north Stoke Mandeville.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It will complete the coalescence of Aylesbury, Stoke Mandeville and Weston Turville which Buckinghamshire Council have said in the VALP policies D3, D4 and S3 that they would prevent.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There is insufficient infrastructure, doctors, dentists, pharmacies, and schools to support the current residents, plus the 5,000 more future residents in developments between south Aylesbury and north Stoke Mandeville – so adding another 1,600+ residents on this land will exacerbate the problem.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The roads in and around Stoke Mandeville and Aylesbury are already very busy with very frequent traffic queues and jams. With an increase of over 3,500 more cars as a result of developments between south Aylesbury and north Stoke Mandeville, the area will be saturated \u2013 adding another 1,000+ cars for this development will just increase the traffic misery.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Previous planning applications on this land have been refused, mainly based on unacceptable changes in the character of the area.<\/strong><\/p>\n
